Where the data comes from

Every record is mirrored from official public sources published by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA): the motor-carrier census (identity, address, fleet, cargo, officers), the operating-authority registry (common / contract / broker authority), and live SAFER / Licensing & Insurance data for safety ratings, inspections, crashes, and insurance.

How fresh is it

The database updates continuously: newly registered carriers and status changes are pulled in daily, and every record is re-checked weekly. Each carrier page shows when its record last changed.
